Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 2 Tips & Walkthrough: Yellow Wind Formation: Dingfeng Manor

The level design of “Black Myth: Wukong” is quite complex, with various hidden surprises scattered throughout the map that can easily be missed if you’re not careful. Here, I will create a comprehensive exploration guide for “Black Myth: Wukong,” detailing the hidden NPC side quests, hidden levels, hidden bosses, important collectibles, and more, in conjunction with the main storyline to provide a route planning explanation. I will do my best to guide you through everything, minimizing detours and ensuring a complete narrative experience.

(This article has been streamlined as much as possible, reducing plot descriptions to minimize spoilers. However, it is difficult to avoid some spoilers when mentioning BOSS names and character names. It is recommended that you do not read the following content until you have encountered them in the game.)

After passing the land temple, walk forward across the bridge.

After crossing the bridge, I encountered a coffin.

Defeat the tiger spirit on the arch bridge to obtain the 【Old Rattle Drum】 and 【Essence】 tiger spirit.

Cross the bridge into the cave, open the small box to obtain the【Rare Item】Glazed Relic Bottle.

After passing through the cave, I jumped down at the end and found myself back at the place where I previously fought Stone Daredevil and Stone Vanguard.

Return to the land temple of Dingfeng Village, walk back into the village, turn left into the courtyard after entering, the colors of the view will suddenly darken, and you will hear the voices of children.

In the yard, at the place where three zombies kneel towards the door, use the rattle drum to trigger the plot. By the way, grab a treasure chest in the house next door.

Then go to “Shamen Village – Bujigu,” the place where you fought Sha Erlang before, exit the stone door and walk down the stairs.

After going down the stairs from the exit stone gate, there is a bridge. Cross the bridge, then turn right at the bridgehead to enter a darker area, and use the rattle drum to trigger the second part of the child’s storyline.

Finally, at Shamen Village, in the corner near the pavilion where Brother Ma was previously tied up, I found a well and used the rattle drum to trigger the third segment of the child’s storyline.

Refer to the simple map of Shamen Village that I drew; the location of the well is circled in the image below.

After the child’s storyline, jump into the bottom of the well to fight the mad tiger. This mad tiger is the younger brother of the Tiger Vanguard from the Hidden Tiger Temple, and the “Tiger Vanguard” of the Golden Kingdom is their father, who is the same Tiger Vanguard that Sun Wukong fought during his journey to the West (the Golden Kingdom is actually a few hundred years in the past, even earlier than when Sun Wukong went to the West).

After defeating the Crazy Tiger, obtain the 【Essence】 Crazy Tiger, and get the 【Gourd】 Five Ghosts Gourd from the coffin in the cave.

After exiting the cave, there is a land temple that allows for teleportation. Then return to find the Stone Person for new dialogue, as the Stone Person is the guardian of this land.
