Points Allocation: The special skill only adds points to the Forbidden Word Technique, and no points are allocated to others. The points allocation for the foundation and staff technique is as follows:

 Analysis of Techniques and Countermeasures

Stone Monkey

Phase One

The Stone Monkey has two phases; in the first phase, most attacks are melee with a few large area of effect (AOE) attacks, while in the second phase, there are more large AOE skills, and at half health, it will use a technique to summon a second Stone Monkey.

Start by moving towards the Stone Monkey’s position, first dodging a strike, then go behind the Stone Monkey and unleash a combo of normal attacks. The last hit can cause a wave of stagger, continue with half a combo of normal attacks, and when you see the Stone Monkey recovering, use the immobilization technique and hit with another combo. You should be close to building up three layers of stick momentum.

The stone monkey will consistently use a set of melee combos, and there will be a brief wind-up time before it uses the next skill after delivering the final blow. We can take advantage of this wind-up to charge up and deliver a heavy strike with three sticks.

Then move away from the stone monkey; continuing to attack at this time will result in being repelled by the stone monkey. The stone monkey will attempt to grab twice, and being caught once will take away more than half of your health.

The stone monkey will likely have a red line appear on its body and then start charging to slam the ground. We should take advantage of this wind-up to unleash a series of basic attacks, then dodge the four full-map attacks while staying in place. It’s important to pay attention to the rhythm; the ground slam process involves each hand slamming once, then both hands slamming once, and finally both hands plunging into the ground to execute a wide-range attack.

You can either roll to dodge or use a combination of jumping and a heavy strike with a stick to perform a double jump, depending on your proficiency.

After smashing the ground, continue to output a set of normal attacks during the recovery. If the player is relatively far from the enemy, they will jump into the air to smash down, just like at the beginning, also catching the recovery to perform a set of normal attacks, and then immediately move away from the Stone Ape.

At this time, the stone monkey will attack the ground frantically, with the previous attacks being very close in range. The final strike is a medium-range AOE attack, and you can confirm the attack range and dodging time by observing the stones that appear on the ground.

Catch the after-action of this move and continue with a series of basic attacks. In the first phase, we should try to use basic attacks or heavy strikes to wear down the enemy’s health. The enemy’s main damage comes in the second phase, so we need to conserve our blue bar for that phase.

The first phase of the Stone Monkey’s moves has been introduced, and the following will just repeat the various moves from before. At this point, the Stone Monkey’s health bar will not be too high, so continue to catch the move’s startup and recovery frames to transition into the second phase through normal attacks.

Phase 2

In the second phase of the Stone Monkey, it will enchant its own hands, starting with a continuous ground-smashing AOE combo, and at this time, the immobilization technique must not be used, as it will be directly countered by the Stone Monkey.

The process of smashing the ground is the same as the first phase; just dodge according to the feel of the first phase. After the move ends, grab the recovery and first perform a set of normal attacks, then directly use the immobilization technique + external body technique to start a group attack.

Here, the basic stone monkey will be firmly controlled by us, directly beaten down to half health, and the heavy strikes in between are best done with four sticks.

Half-blood stone monkeys can also use the external body technique to summon another stone monkey. We directly use ghost to inflict stun + banana fan for control, and continue to output while following the external body technique (the second stone monkey appears very close to the first one, and if you choose the right angle when releasing the ghost, you can hit both).

By the time the control of the banana fan ends, we can basically kill the other stone monkey directly. The last stone monkey only has a little health left, and we can just transform and finish it off.

The Remains of the Great Sage

Defeating the Stone Monkey will directly lead to the boss battle against the remains of the Great Sage, and the system will restore our status. The remains of the Great Sage also have two phases and two health bars.

It is recommended to first try the techniques of the Great Sage’s remnants, and after death, return to the land temple to switch to the second set of equipment and skill points recommended above.

Because the location of the BOSS battle is in the water, this build will quickly restore health to half when it drops below half (the gear must be upgraded to the maximum level).

Start by using the forbidden word method directly, then go up and clash hard with the Great Sage. This is because the Great Sage has a high desire to attack, and most attacks can be avoided with mindless rolling (BD will also extend the invincibility time of the roll). By interspersing normal attacks and dodges, you can quickly fill up the stick momentum, then directly deliver a heavy strike and continue to repeat this process.

A heavy strike with three sticks can deal a lot of damage. If your health is low, keep your distance and wait for automatic healing. If the situation is urgent, drink a health potion. Because of the choice of alcoholic beverages, we cannot be interrupted while drinking.

When the Great Sage strikes heavily with his staff, he can also use the heavy strike to knock down enemies directly, causing significant damage.

By passively restoring a basic bloodline, one can revive the remnants of the Great Sage and enter the second phase.

In the second phase of the Great Sage, there are many more heavy strikes used, but the damage from our heavy strike remains unchanged, so the strategy is exactly the same as in the first phase.

We have a lot of reductions and automatic healing methods, the health potions are also very healthy, and the difficulty of the battles has been significantly lowered. In the second phase of the Great Sage, there are no hard-to-dodge moves like fast or neurotic attacks. Use the skills you’ve accumulated from your overall gameplay to have a one-on-one showdown with the Great Sage like a true man!
