Although the Tiger Vanguard carries a large sword, most of the attacks are executed through martial arts using fists and feet. Whether it’s raising both fists to strike forward or performing a series of military boxing combos, the sword on his back is not utilized, as the Tiger Vanguard’s techniques are varied and not suitable for fixed combos.

When you see the Tiger Vanguard raise his sword in preparation with the back sword, be ready to dodge the slash. The slash is executed with extreme speed, swinging the sword towards the player. Each time he is about to charge, the Tiger Vanguard will shout “Ba.” After hearing “Ba,” count to two and roll to avoid it.

In addition to charging directly, the Tiger Vanguard can also swing its sword to create a tornado or several sword qi for ranged attacks on players; of course, these ranged attacks pose much less of a threat than a direct charge.

When you see the Tiger Vanguard petrifying, pay extra attention to see if there is a shadow leaving the petrified Tiger Vanguard. If you see a shadow, it means the Tiger Vanguard is about to teleport next to the player to perform a military-style punch; if there is no shadow, it simply means it is just controlling itself.

After completing a set of military boxing moves, Tiger Vanguard will have a certain amount of recovery time. During this time, we quickly build up stick momentum with normal attacks, waiting for the right moment to use a heavy strike to consume health. The heavy strike can also interrupt Tiger Vanguard’s combo.

The Tiger Vanguard himself is also very virtuous in martial arts; after finishing a combo, he will patiently wait for the player to recover if they come at him.
